i wonder why the “Pegawai Sistem Maklumat” do the such thing leaving the AP without key and default login access … anyway .. without them … i can’t even get internet connectivity @ north while doing the workshop … even the bandwidth is nice because there are using the “SchoolNet” under GiTN with the Ministry of Education…..

Finally i solved the problems … thanks to god.. What are the problem? I discovered that kernel logging & others services in ipcop always got down automatically without anybody stop the services. I take an action by refresh installing the IPCOP 1.4.15, because previously i’m installing the IPCOP 1.4.10 and doing the upgrading from 1.4.11 , 1.4.12, 1.4.13, 1.4.14 then IPCOP 1.4.15.
After finish reinstalling the ipcop, i realize this :-
root@firewall:~ # uname -a
Linux firewall 2.4.34 #1 Thu Mar 8 13:20:57 GMT 2007 i686 pentium4 i386 GNU/Linux
whereby previously:
root@firewall:~ # uname -a
Linux firewall 2.4.34 #1 Mon Nov 6 15:11:45 GMT 2006 i686 Generic i386 GNU/Linux
So i make a conclusion that might be its already been hire wire by its own kernel not stable enough by doing the upgrading from the previous version of IPCOP. (correct me if im wrong!) I think ive already solve the 1st problem.
Then i added some others addon for ipcop whereby i think its meets my office policies requirement by using the Guardian, p2pblock, Layer7 Blocker
