Today i gain new knowledge with another Anti virus product, Panda Anti Virus. Me & RiverDell went to the Panda Malaysia Office which in Megan Avenue. While 1st time going there, we lost for a while searching the office at last .. we find it ..

Counterize II is a small Statistics-Plugin for WordPress, which saves IP, timestamp, visited URl, referring URl and browserinformation in the database and displays total hits, unique hits and other statistics in WordPress webpages.

Download and Installation

Download: Counterize II Version 2.10 (Zip 73 KB)

The installation is very easy:

1. Unzip the plugin to your plugin path
2. Activate the plugin on your WordPress-PlugIn-page

Update from earlier versions

If you are using Counterize I then you can use the automated update:

1. Deactivate the plugin on your WordPress-PlugIn-page
2. Unzip the plugin to your plugin path
3. Activate the plugin on your WordPress-PlugIn-page

Your data will be converted to the new data structure.

What a fakap morning day i got this error!!!

SYMPTOMS

When you try to open a folder in Microsoft Windows XP, you may receive the following error message, where Folder is the name of the folder that you cannot open:

Folder is not accessible. Access is denied.

CAUSE

This issue may occur if the folder that you cannot open was created on an NTFS file system volume by using a previous installation of Windows, and then installing Windows XP. This issue may occur although you enter the correct user name and password. This issue occurs because the security ID for the user has changed. Although you use the same user name and password, your security ID no longer matches the security ID of the owner of the folder that you cannot open.

For example, although you use the same user name and password, you may no longer have permission to open the folder after you complete the following steps:

RESOLUTION

To resolve this issue, you must turn off Simple File Sharing, and then take ownership of the folder:

This mod reads the snort-alert-logfile and blocks e.g. portsscan automaticlly.

Another function of this mod is, that you could enter an ip in the webinterface and this ip will be blocked.

There is also a function in the connection-page of the webinterface to block ip’s.
Just click the ip to show the who-is and at the end of the who-is-page there is a link to block the ip.

The manuall ip-blocking is working also if guardian is disabled.

Installation:

Copy the file to your ipcop, extract it with

tar xfz guardian_ipcop_1.4.16.tgz -C /tmp

Go into the guardian-directory and run

./install

After this, you have to go into the webinterface under services ==> guardian and set your red interface and the time, guardian should block ip’s.
All other settings could be left in default state.

Now go to services ==> intrusion detection and enable guardian.

Under Logs ==> guardianlog you could see which ip is blocked/unblocked.

Uninstall:

Just run

/var/ipocp/guardian/bin/uninstall

To adapt to other languages than english and german ( included ),
just edit
/var/ipcop/addon-lang/guardian.en.pl
and save it to
/var/ipcop/addon-lang/guardian..pl ( do NOT alter …en.pl )
then run
perl -e “require ‘/var/ipcop/lang.pl’; &Lang::BuildCacheLang”

this is my 1st time experience joining the Treasure Hunt. It was organize by Take A Break . Thanks to myWarisan management doing such a challenging & enjoy activity for the staff. The treasure hunt is a part of programmed for the company trip to Pangkor Island.

After seeing most of my buddy using the MS Office 2007, i decide to use it too after seeing the features & interface There is a lot of new features inside the MS Office 2007, u guys should give a try to it … for me its more easier to manage my task & appointment using the new MS Outlook 2007.

On September 17th, Sophos will release an update that will change the location of your software repository from the default pmx.sophos.com to ak-repo1.sophos.com on our global content delivery network. This change is being made to improve both the availability and reliability of software and data updates.

Please note that customers not using the default location of http://pmx.sophos.com will continue to use their existing repository location.

Recommendations

Ensure that your firewall or proxy server allows access to the repository by its DNS name ak-repo1.sophos.com and not any specific IP address by September 17, 2007.

Customers interested in taking advantage of the new repository before September 17th can do so by following these steps on each of their PureMessage for UNIX servers:

1) install the repo-test package (as the ‘pmx’ user):

ppm install PureMessage-VerifyDistributedDownload

2) verify that you can still contact the repo (as the ‘pmx’ user):

ppm verify PureMessage
